I Never Saw Another Butterfly Again
I created this butterfly based on the poem called “Campire” by A Lindtová. In the poem it’s all about the Holocaust, how a little boy was thinking during the Holocaust. I hope you enjoy.

Life is Beautiful Movie Review
If I were in Guido’s situation I wouldn’t of had been trying to be undercover as a German/ Nazis I would be afraid to do all of those hard things he’s was doing to make sure his son was safe. I mean I would tell my son to hide from the Nazis Guido also made up this game for his son wouldn’t get scared which’s its actually a good idea, I wouldn’t of had thinked of that. If I were in Dora’s situation I wouldn’t of had gone with them on the train, I would just hoped for the best. The movie made me feel sad at the end how the dad died. Overall the movie was good but just the end kind of upset me .

Girl, Stolen
This young-adult crime book is called, “Girl, Stolen” written by April Henry. Cheyenne Wilder a 16 year old is sleeping in the back of the car waiting for her Step-mother, when suddenly someone is breaking into the car. Griffin, the robber, steals the car with Cheyenne inside but he doesn’t noticed her. When griffin finally realizes he shows his dad and the family... they all freaked! “OMG now she knows where we live” “Do we kill her?” Cheyanne is BLIND though...When the dad finds out that Cheyenne is the daughter’s president to a powerful corporation, he now wants to use her for money. My favorite part is at the end how griffin really thinks about cheyanne and how he loves her... Would should be able to escape if she’s blind?? Who dies??

Blood Will Tell
would you feel if you were a suspect of a crime that you did commit? This mystery book is called “Blood Will Tell” by April Henry. Nick Walker isn't the most popular kid around but when a body is found in a vacant lot not too far from his home, it all goes south on him. I mean who could blame the police... the kid owns several knifes and doodles violent drawings in his school notebook. He’s not too bad though, he’s in the Portland Search and Rescue team. He helps out the police when there’s a crime in the neighborhood. Anyway, secrets are revealed and friends become opponents. His crush Alexis and his best friend Ruby only have certain time to clear his name before it’s too late. Could they clear up his name? Or Was it him....? Who murderd this woman? My favorite part was when the secret was revealed, it was so shocking because this whole time he was being lied to. Another part was how the police thought it was him because of the DNA on the woman who was murderd which leads to the secret.
A quick video about what inspired April Henry to write this book “Blood Will Tell”

#2018WORD
Living my word in 2018 will change my life by different reasons. Strength is my word I chose this year because its what encourages you to move on or to become someone better. It connects with at least 3 areas in my life, one area is my family. It will help me fight through family problems and jealousy in the family. Yes, believe it or not, there is jealousy in families. Another area is school, It will help me fight through school and keeping up in school. I will not let nothing hold me back. Lastly and most importantly is myself, I been through so much especially theses 3 years. I had to tell myself that this is going to end soon. To be honest sometimes it did and sometimes it didn’t. Right now I’m currently still having trouble with myself but I know for a fact that it’s soon going to end. I believe in myself, I believe I could do anything in this world, I believe that I will get through this hard topic in my life. All you need is courage and mostly Strength.

The Perfect Weekend
If I could imagine the perfect weekend, it would take place in Cancun, Mexico. In a 5-star Hotel with breakfast in bed, big tv, big shower, and a most importantly a King size bed just for me. Eating all kinds of food, Chinese’s food, hot cheetos, ice cream, pancakes, tacos and all kinds of food to be honest.I would go out into the city to party with my firends. Doing adventures like zip lining maybe if I dare even go sky diving and exploring in caves! Sleeping in on sundays, ughhh I wish that actually came true!!:(

Homecoming
How would you feel if your mother abandoned you with no money, no food, and shelter? This book is called “Homecoming” by Cynthia Voigt. Dicey is only 13 years old and she now has to take responsibility of her 3 younger siblings. I was really shocked on how their mother left them alone, I also felt anger towards the mother because where did she wander off? Why did she leave her kids there? Their mother didn’t even give them a hug or kiss, she just disappears in the mall and leaves her kids in the car. It’s been hours and all they know is that the mall closed and they don’t know where their mother is. Dicey has to find a way to get money, food, and shelter. They go on a long walk across the country to find their Aunt Celia’s, who they never met. They later find out something tragic and they meet someone who they thought they would never meet. Who could it be?
